Last updated October 12, 2026. This page explains what data Tapvolution touches, who touches it, and what choices you have.
Tapvolution is a single-player idle/clicker game. It has no account system, no login, and no chat or social features — there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to hand over to play. This policy covers the two places data flows anyway: what the game stores on your own device, and what the third-party advertising service it uses (Google AdMob) collects on its own behalf.
Your progress — tap counts, currency, owned upgrades, unlocked achievements, and similar game state — is saved to a local file on your device only. It is never uploaded to us or to any server we operate. We don't have accounts, so we have no way to see it, back it up for you, or connect it to you personally. Uninstalling the app deletes this data, unless your device's own cloud backup system (outside our control) has copied it elsewhere.
The game can also show you a backup code (Settings → Backup & restore) that you may copy and paste yourself to move your progress to another phone; the code is only ever produced and read on your device. If you turn on reminder notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device — no notification service or server is involved.
Tapvolution uses one third-party service, Google AdMob, to show optional rewarded video ads. It operates under its own privacy policy, which governs data it collects independently of us:
Shows rewarded video ads that you can choose to watch in exchange for a temporary in-game boost. May collect an advertising identifier (Advertising ID), IP address and device and usage data to select, deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud. See Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive this data and do not sell it.
Where required — including for users in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland — Tapvolution shows a consent form before loading personalized ads, in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy. You can decline personalization there, change your choice later under Settings → Ad privacy settings (shown where it is required), or opt out of interest-based ads or reset your Advertising ID at any time in your device's settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
Ads are only shown when you tap the boost button and agree to watch one; the game never interrupts you with ads.
Tapvolution is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has used the app and provided data to a third party, contact us and we will help.
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change with it. Significant changes will also be reflected in the app's Play Store listing.
